It's a workday, ordinary
neither cold, nor is it hot.
Now then, it could be somewhat scary,
that would rhyme. But it is not.
If on my way I saw a heron:
at least a bird, but hard to rhyme,
then I would write a hexameron
or sing along the Auld Lang Syne.
